New Venue Alert: The Lookout Opens in Oxnard with Live Hip-Hop Focus

Oxnard just got a new home for live hip-hop. The Lookout, a 350-cap venue on Saviers Road, opens its doors this month with a mission statement that reads like a love letter to the Central Coast scene.

What We Know

The space is a converted warehouse with full sound treatment, a proper green room, and a bar program focused on local craft. The booking team has already locked in three months of programming, heavily weighted toward 805 hip-hop and R&B acts.

The Tri-County corridor has been starving for dedicated hip-hop venues. Most artists in the 805 have to drive to LA or book brewery patios. A purpose-built room with proper sound changes the game.
